BT BLUETOOTH WRISTBAND SPEAKERPHONE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What is this thing anyway?

IT's essentially a Bluetooth headset that you wear on your wrist instead of in your ears. Atomic9 developers think out of the box so all of our products take a different, and often needed, approach to everyday products to make your mobile easier. We know a lot of people dislike having something in their ear all day long, so this is not only a cool but useful solution.

Like any bluetooth devices, this supports Bluetooth Compliant Versions: 2.1+ EDR - which means it can play music out of your smartphone/mp3 device if it supports A2DP. You can also pair it to your computer for SKYPE calls, music, all via bluetooth, how cool is that?

Q. How long does it take to fully charge?

First time charge usually takes about 2-4 hours, please try to charge it to the fullest the first time you get it. Subsequent charges

Q. The BT Bluetooth Wristband Speakerphone support duplex speakerphone?

Yes ! the BT wristband speakerphone supports duplex - however, since your cellphone is the main communication device your cell phone has to support duplex communication for the BT wristband to support it. if you hear conversations cut off, then it's probably because your mobile phone does not support duplex. Many Blackberry & iPhone models are not duplex. So please check your mobile phone specifications!

Q. Does it support voice dialing

Yes, only if your phone supports it.

Q. I hear an echo, tinny sound - what do i do?

You have to adjust the speakerphone volume or your cell phone volume DOWN until it sounds comfortable. When the volume on both devices are on MAX - the sound may be too loud and the microphone is picking up the sound coming out of the speaker, creating an echo feedback. Simply adjust the volume down on either or both devices.

Q. Sounds distorted when loud - what do i do?

You have to adjust the speakerphone volume or your cell phone volume DOWN until it sounds right. Often times people turn up the volume when they cannot hear the call - but it's because of a bad reception from the mobile call. The BT wristband can only amplify the signal from your cellphone, so, as cellphone communications are often not very clear or loud based on your reception or mobiel phone, amplifying a bad call only makes the noise louder.

The BT wristband has a DSP algorithm to cut out as much noise and echo as possible, but the BT wristband acts like any other Bluetooth headset, turning the volume way up on your bluetooth headset or phone would have the same effect, so please adjust the volume to fix this problem. Since all mobile phones are different, we did not put in an audio level delimiter to limit the max volume, so it's best to adjust it per your mobile phone.
